Good old Fokker
over 5 years ago already, the Fokker was withdrawn from the KLM fleet. The last day consisted of a special event with the last 4 Fokkers departing one after another. Mother Nature even had something special to show us that day.
Colorful plane
Europe Airpost was a colorful freight carrier in Europe. in 2015 they were taken over by ASL and slowly their planes became less colorfull. I was lucky enough to capture one in daylight as they usually fly at night. The stunning Geneva backdrop (which is actually already in France) creates a nice contrast with the plane.
Martinair 747 on approach
The only plane left in Martinair colors seen on approach to Schiphol airport. One of the older 747-400's left in the world with her 33 years of age.

During the Paris airshow you can take a look at the regular operations of Le Bourget airport.
This particular plane has been on display at the business days of the airshow and was preparing for a flight to Farnborough.

Pepsi air slowing down
Korean air (cargo) operates multiple weekly flights to Amsterdam. Here one of their newer Boeing 747-8F's is seen slowing down after landing on the Polderbaan. The airlines logo looks a lot like the Pepsi logo.
Back in the good old days
When there were still many passenger 747's, including KLM's. Here's one seen about to depart from runway 18L bound for Asia.
