Ice on the grass
When the humidity is very high and the temperatures will be below zero in the night and above zero during daytime. This is what happens during the night. The waterdrops freeze to everything from trees to grass to cars and create a very cool atmosphere when you wake up.
Here is a closer look to the grass after a cold night. The windmills in the back are 400+ year old mills near Schermerhorn.
Rainbow over a dutch landscape
While the rain was pouring down and the sun started to appear just before sunset, this rainbow came alive.

As long as I've been photographing old dutch windmills I still needed a picture of one with lightning in the back. I think this is a successful one (although the mill isn't exactly sharp...).
